This 4 Days (3 Nights) Uganda Safari features gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to almost half of the world’s remaining population of the mountain gorillas. After the gorilla trek, enjoy a leisurely expedition at the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi in the terraced hills of the Kigezi Region. Enjoy a boat cruise to one of the islands in the Lake and meet the Batwa Pygmies.
Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Drive South West to Bwindi
At 6am, the company Guide/driver will pick you up from your overnight accommodation and embark on your journey to the Mountain Gorilla Sanctuary of Bwindi. Along the way you will stop at the Equator for cash refreshments, photos and souvenirs. Continue with your drive through Masaka to have lunch in Mbarara. En route you may also view the Ankole long horned cattle, savanna plains and lust banana plantations. After lunch proceed to the impenetrable Bwindi forest also known as one of the pre historic forests which was once inhabited by the Batwa/pygmies.
Check into your lodge for some rest and freshening up before you join other tourists for dinner while enjoying the chill Bwindi night. Overnight at

Day 2: Bwindi Gorilla Tracking
Once you are done with the morning breakfast and Gorilla briefing at the park headquarters, you will be lead to the trek starting point will packed lunch and water. Consider hiring a porter as you may need him/her later in case the going gets tough and you need someone to hold your hand or carry your back pack or even carry you on their back.
The gorilla trekking session may take 2 – 8 hours and can be strenuous but very inspirational lifetime experience. One hour will be allowed to view and take pictures of the Gorillas. Day 3: Full Day at Lake Bunyonyi
Wake up to delicious breakfast. Explore the Beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, the second deepest Lake in Africa after Lake Tanganyika. Lake Bunyonyi is so beautiful that you can even decide to spend your entire day just relaxing and marveling at its beauty. However, this will not be the case as you will take a canoe to visit a few of the many islands that are dotted in this lake. or you may interact with the locals in their activities.

Day 4: Return to Kampala
After breakfast, depart for Kampala having lunch en route in Mbarara and a brief stop at the Equator
